It’s true! On September 7, 2001, the Bella Vista Athletic Booster Club received a $300,000 grant from the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors to begin construction of a new all weather track. We are trying to contact as many BV track supporters as we can to help us with a new "problem". As strange as it may sound, installation of an all-weather track creates additional costs for the Track Team. We will need to purchase new equipment - specifically:
- New discus cage $4200.00
- 2 Throwing rings $250.00 (Paid for – Thank You!)
- All-weather starting blocks $1200.00 (Paid for – Thank You!)
- New hurdles $9,000.00 (click) (Paid for – Thank You!)
- Storage container for field equipment $3000.00 (Paid for – Thank You!)
- Second storage container for track equipment 2500.00 (Paid for – Thank You!)
- Total: $19,650.00
There are three ways you can help fund our needs:
1. Make a donation to the Bella Vista Track Boosters
- Gold Donor $500.00 or more
- Silver Donor $200 - $500
- Bronze Donor up to $200
2. Buy a Hurdle $100 – get your name on our donor plaque
