Every year Bella Vista hosts the Sacramento Meet of Champions (SMOC) at American River College. This meet is the most prestigious in season high school track and field meet in Northern California (click for meet web page). As the host, Bella Vista track and field student athletes have the opportunity to help event officials run the meet.

The meet is on Saturday, April 20 and there are two sessions - the Open Session (day meet) runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and the Invitational Session (night meet) runs from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm. You can sign up to help with one session or two.

For your help you will recieve a SMOC t-shirt if you work one session. If you work both session you will also recieve a meal around 3:30. Those looking for community service hours can also help out and Coach U will sign off on your hours. In addition you will get to see some of the best high school track and field athletes on the west coast including some BV athletes!

This meet is a huge undertaking for the coaching staff and we really need your help! Follow the link below to sign up to help work an event. If you are a varsity athlete and expect to compete in this meet talk to Coach U before you sign up.
