The Hall of Fame Award is the most prestigious of the track and field awards that an athlete can receive at Bella Vista High School. To receive this award an athlete must have achieved one of the First Team or Second Team Hall of Fame standards which can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

First Team Hall of Fame Standards:

  1. Qualify for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Track and Field Meet two times and rank in the top five of the all-time varsity performers list in a minimum of two individual events.
  2. Qualify for the CIF State Track and Field Meet one time and rank in the top five of the all-time varsity performers list in three or more individual events.
  3. Qualify for the CIF State Track and Field Meet three or more times and rank in the top five of the all-time varsity performers list in just one individual event.
  4. Qualify for the CIF State Track and Field Meet Finals one time and rank in the top five of the all-time varsity performers list in a minimum of two individual events.
  5. Qualify for the CIF State Track and Field Meet two times and at the time of graduation hold at least one individual school record.
  6. Win a minimum of four individual league (conference) championships and rank in the top 5 of the all-time varsity performers list in a minimum of two individual events.  In addition achieve one of the following: 1. Qualify for the Sac Joaquin Section (SJS) Masters Finals a minimum of 2 times or 2.  At the time of graduation hold at least one individual school record or 3. Qualify to the CIF State Track and Field Meet just one time.

Second Team Hall of Fame Standards:

  1. Qualify for the CIF State Track and Field Meet at least two times and rank in the top five of only one of the individual events.
  2. Qualify for the CIF State Track and Field Meet Finals one time and rank in the top five of only one of the individual events.
  3. Win a total of four individual league (conference) championships and rank in the top ten on the all-time varsity performers list in a minimum of two individual events.
  4. Rank in the top five of the all-time varsity performers list in at least two individual events and qualify to the SJS Masters Finals two or more times.
  5. Rank in the top ten of the all-time varsity performers list in at least three individual events and qualify to the SJS Masters Finals two or more times.
  6. Rank in the top ten of the all-time varsity performers list in at least two individual events and win a SJS individual divisional title in at least one event.
